Dr. Ute R. Gotha

Dr. Gotha exclusively deals with questions of business law. Her focus is on the individual and collective labour law as well as on matters relating to Romania. Currently, Dr. Gotha is engaged with a prominent case before the German Federal Labour Court and is executing a joint venture project in Bucharest.

Following her studies in Mainz, Geneva and Heidelberg she worked for two years as a Senior Lector at the Institute for German and European Business and Corporate Law of the University of Heidelberg. Between January 2003 and February 2007 she worked ­ thereof three years together with Dr. Zinn and Dr. Böcker ­ in a law firm specialized in international matters. As of February 2007 she joined the law firm ZinnBöcker as partner.

Dr. Gotha regularly holds lectures on subjects of labour law and Romanian law. She has published a book about European business law ("Grenzen und Auslegung autonom harmonisierten Wirtschaftsprivatrechts", Baden-Baden 2006) as well as a comparative study about liability in France and Romania ("Zur strikten Haftung in Frankreich und Rumänien", Genf 1996). Currently she is working on a study about debt collection in Romania. She works in German, English, Romanian and French.

Dr. Gotha is an avid cyclist and grows white butterfly orchids.
